The term "Centicycle" made me think of a one-hundered wheeled bicycle. Unfortunately, over 15 thousand pixel creation does not fit on this websidte. The full sized version is on twitter.

I’ve been working on this animation for months but it’s been taking me forever because of lack of motivation. Yet I’m motivated enough to continue working on this until finished, I’m not leaving this abandoned. Anyway, here’s a quick screenshot of the frame I got done yesterday Im around halfway done at this point

Samus... One of my favorite nintendo girls...

Anyways hey jon today i met up with some friends from the eggpac (Specifically Gwen) and I had a ton of fun, but it got me thinking that this was somewhat your doing. Of course, you didn't do anything directly, but by having this community and bringing people together, I was able to meet some new friends so, thanks!

I had no idea nine year old me stumbling across a video series of four guys playing new super mario bros wii on youtube would someday lead to me hanging out with two new friends in a hotel room all day but life works in mysterious ways huh...

I wasn't going to let it compress THAT hard! I just needed Rosa's height and width to be 1:1!

Now excuse me as I try and figure out how exactly to pay Rosa back because I didn't think that far ahead.

The Federation Troopers make quite the first impression in their debut in the series. The cutscene of them making a last stand leaves an impression.
And there's actually quite a bit of dialogue that shows up in this scene too. Most of it far too drowned out by the others noises and music. But thought I could clear up the one point you can definitely hear someone talking.

Federation needs better engineers or ones that dont base tech off of chozo tech. How many giant doors and explosion powered switches do you need before its inconvenient.

I don't have much to say about this piece (I think it speaks for itself pretty well), so instead, I'd like to use this space to talk about how Metroid Prime 2 became my first Metroid game.

So back in 2003-ish, my dad decided to get us a GameCube, and since it was our first time owning a console while it was current, he decided to get us a subscription to GameInformer* so we'd have at least some idea of what games were worth getting. Fast-forward about a year, and I notice a review in there for MP2, where they gave it a decent-ish score of 8 - but that's not what got my attention. See, obviously they need to show screenshots of the game to show off how it looks, and often-times those will be accompanied by a caption describing what's happening. But GameInformer's schtick, at least in those days, was that every other caption would be a tongue-in-cheek remark instead. In this case, the image was of Samus shooting an enemy with, er, a purple weapon, with the caption "One more shot of grape jelly oughta finish him off."

Since I was 12 years old at the time, I thought that joke was hilarious, and I rushed downstairs to show it to my parents. I don't think they saw what was funny, but they seemed to get that I was excited about this game for some reason. So, at Christmas a few months later, I opened my presents, and one of them was a copy of MP2.

The next Spring/Summer, I got curious enough about the first game that I decided to save my allowance and buy a copy.

At some point, I went back through old copies of GameInformer and noticed ads for Zero Mission, and decided to pick up that as well. Also, a classmate was kind enough to lend me his copy of Fusion.

So yeah, I got into one of my favorite series because of a sarcastic joke about grape jelly. Go figure.

*FWIW, this was back when Gaming Journalism still had *SOME* dignity surrounding it.

I wanted to draw shortstack Rosa during last night's stream but was busy working on my other piece, so here she is.

I wonder what kind of scent would Rosajon smell like when she's sweaty IRL?

What, you're saying I'm using the argument of what is or isn't an RPG to make a meme, show off my TTRPG character, AND show off a perler fridge magnet I got at my local game store? I would never~ xP

In all seriousness, thought this'd be a great oppotunity to show off the first pic I've actually drawn in a while, being of my character Celes Rockwell, aka the Superhero Refract. She is closeted transfemme, has the powers of energy absorption and projection (hence the hero name Refract, since she "Refracts" energy back at her opponents) and the ability to turn parts of her body into crystal, and she is the Janus playbook in Masks (for those who don't know the game, basically think your Spider-Man/Blue Beetle hero that lives a dual life trying to keep their civilian and hero identities separate). There is actually an in-universe reason her name is Celes, as it is canon that she played FF6 when she was little and really resonated with the character of Celes, so she decided to make that her name.

As said before, I am absolutely in love with this character and always have such a great time playing her, whether in a home game with my roommates and our mutual friend or guest starring in a podcast.

Anyways, I'm gonna go have an existential crisis now for realizing the PS3 and 360 are edging on being retro... ^^;
