You want to know the best way to use Amiibos these days? Use them as references for drawing. That's what I did for sweet Celeste, next to my villager character in New Horizons.
Fun story about Amiibo Festival, back when it was new, I did enjoyed it... but after getting all the stuff - plus not having friends close by that would want to play the game - I just stopped. Would that mean that Amiibo Festival would be my Sticker Star? No, that would go to Harvest Moon: Lost Valley. The first Harvest Moon game that Natsume ACTUALLY made after they and Marvouls split.
