Alright, so after seeing that Jon had completed the Game Clearing of Metroid Prime, I wanted to do something to celebrate. Hopefully down the line sometime this year, Jon gets around to playing the shmup 'Zeroranger' that I keep going on about, which is the origin for these pixelart edits. One of the player character ships has this kickass magical girl style transformation that looks straight out of Metroid Zero Mission's aesthetic, so I edited the sprites to fit RosaJon's Power Suit transformation. Then I came up with the basis of an AU story on the fly to fit to the sprites.
The epithet I gave RosaJon here is based on, of all things, the Air Hockey game from one of the recent Fortune Cookies. Kind of figures that she'd be the Galaxy Queen.

Addendum: Rosa's suit design is based off of OtakuAP's design, with some subtle differences in detail. Looks like she's already acquired the Morph Ball and Spider Ball!
