Here is my 11th Joniverse inspired Battlebot, and as requested it is based off Jonte. For this one I decided to go with another classic design with him being what is called a Thwack-Bot.What that means is that he attacks by turning back-and-forth, thus swinging the sword on the front back-and-forth. This means that the weapon itself does not need any kind of motor on it for it to be effective. That saves a lot of extra weight to put into armor and drivetrain. The most effective way he fights it's is by coming into the center of the Battlebox and spinning in circles as quickly as possible, creating a circle where you have to take damage in order to get near him. He also has a wedge on the back of him give him that he can use it was defensively and we're to just shove an opponent around should his sword be broken. His sponsors would be Merp Motors and the PokeJon TCG.
I thought this would be an interesting design to use for Jonte considering DMC first released in 2001, when the original Comedy Central Battlebots show was being aired. I really like the design of thwack-bots and thought it would be cool. And upon looking up sponsors from that time period, it got pretty crazy. Some notable sponsors that bots had were things like Snapple, Magic The Gathering, and EverQuest. Anyways, you're still looking for the next AltJon to draw. Maybe someone like GooseJon sounds good?
