Our 2nd first round match was Jonte vs Buffton. Buffton came in the heavy favorite, but some lucky shots from Jonte were his undoing. Jonte started by getting a 1-in-a-million shot on the chain that powers Buffton's lifting arm. At that point Buffton is just a pushbot. Jonte took advantage and got a shot on Buffton's wedge that split it and snapped the left side of Buffton's drive, leaving him unable to move. Buffton was counted out and Jonte won vie KO. That means Jonte moves on in a HUGE upset.
This one was fun. I really hope the damage came across well in the picture. It sucks that Buffton didn't last very long, but upsets happen when you least expect them. >:)
