When trying to describe the conditions of these navel landers they are usually summed up as cramped, slow, and completely open to attack, however their good armor makes sure that we get to where we are going...eventually. However you look at it, Alliance forces didn't really have much choice as the Yosh Landers were really repurposed fishing boats, donated to the defense force by the many island inhabitants.
