The artist community has created 838 AltJons so far! That's an astonishing amount. In recognition the EggPAC has decided to start running a "Featured AltJon" art prompt, both to show off the creativity of the community and to give the artists a prompt if they need an idea to draw.

So how does this all work?

I'll meet with MajorMooch and we'll decide which alt to feature using the wiki's random page button. We get permission from the creator, and then an artist from the EggPAC will be chosen to draw the announcement image (like KidArc did for this post). After that, the Featured Alt will remain live for a few weeks until we announce the next one. We'll start with one alt each month, but we might change the timing based on feedback from the community.


Why do we need two people for a random pick? Well, the Wiki's random page feature has a sense of humor. These first few rolls included:
- ChestBurster Jon
- Fertility Goddess Jon
- Arro (TRG mascot)
- Aelita

We'll try to preserve the randomness of the Featured Alt, but we may reroll the pick based on the content of the Alt. We want to be sure the chosen Alt is one that most artists are comfortable drawing. (I'm looking at you, ChestBurster Jon)

Hello hellos, I volunteered to do the the first prompt for the month and for the featured alt to kick this off. This month's featured art is known as Knuckle Jon, originally created by Kappaburra. It was a fun alt to work on and hope others join in on the fun prompt. With this side project done, hopefully the other I'm working on will be done within the week so I can get back to...insert irregular art frequency posting here. Anyways enjoy rest of stream all/ o/ bloop~
