When Emilious awoke and walks off to relieve himself, Xiyue took the opportunity to take a closer look at his guitar. From touching the emerald he can see Conroy pacing around in his prison of a gem. The god knows what this dark soul truly was, for he have interacted with a fallen god of a similar dark soul, from the god of chaos.
"What do we have here? I can see past you, you evil soul" Xiyue starts a conversation, "Evil? Oh no no no, I would never. Im just helping Emilious and making him a great bard." "Thats just an excuse to just slowly steal away his life, like the parasite you are" "Im doing that? You must have it wrong you-...you're a god. No wonder you can see me." "Indeed I am, and I have the power to remove you to save that man"
