Eight years ago, a much younger, more handsome me was starting his first semester of college. He’d recently screwed himself over on his class schedule and wound up choosing two classes that were five hours apart… with the first one starting at 6am. With so much time to spare, he spent much of it watching Let’s Plays of his favorite content creators- not the least of which being a certain Canadian with a penchant for receiving eggs. Only this time, he wasn’t just giving them back- he was lobbing them at eldritch horrors beyond imagination. And Poochy.

To say your LP of this game saved me from boredom would be an understatement- I love rewatching a lot of yours on YouTube, but Yoshi’s Island has a certain, timeless charm that I can’t shake no matter how many times I watch it (spoiler alert: three and counting so far). I can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful series, both in its ups and downs, and if I had to choose a series that cements why you’re one of my favorite content creators of all time? This is the one.
