Story time: back before I was even born, and for a good chunk of my childhood, my dad used to be a district manager for Chuck E. Cheese's. This meant exactly what you think it did: free pizza, treats, lots of prizes, and of course, tons of free games. Lately I've been trying to remember some of those long-lost games I loved playing so much, and in my search, I came across one in particular- an early 2000's Sega game called Wild Riders.

The game takes place in a stylized comic book world, and has you choosing between one of two biker teams, racing as either of their best bikers to avoid getting arrested by the police. You use the handlebars to jump and slide past obstacles, pushing and pulling them respectively, while the game shows how close the police are to you at any given moment. Clearing obstacles adds space between you and the cops, but the more things you run into, the faster they catch up, and if they do, it's game over. The game runs on the NAMOI 2 graphics board, better known as the same board Virtua Fighter 4 uses. (A variation of this board is also used by a few Initial D games, too!)

To make a long story short, I wanted to make RosaJon into one of those playable bikers, and since I wanted to make a male one, I decided to throw you in there as well. Here's hoping I did you both justice!

Here's footage of the OG game, in case you're curious. I think you'd like it: https://youtu.be/XSvyFzFDRoA
