With the discussion of cosplay, some of the members of chat mentioned using EVA foam for cosplay.
This was actually my very FIRST time not only working with EVA Foam but also constructing a FULL suit of armor when I went to Blizzcon 2016 as the Headless Horseman from World of Warcraft/Hearthstone.

Eva foam can be a bit daunting to work with, along with it's challenges of possible cuts, and in my case, a bad burn on my arm from knocking over a heat gun, but you can make amazing things with it and I made this with the help of video how-tos from Odin Makes and Evil Ted.

The shoulder pauldrons were the most detailed thing I worked with to make it look like dragon scales, but I absolutely love how much better in the dark it is.

As with any cosplay (and other cosplayers in the chat can likely confirm) there's a few things I wish I knew then that I know now that would've improved this, but overall turned out great and I had fun wearing it.
