So about that “serious art” I kept mentioning in passing…
But for real, things could NOT have lined up better for me to post this tonight. Back in May, I thought about whether anybody had drawn art of a RosaJon-April O’Neil crossover, and while comments are free to correct me on this, I couldn’t find ANYthing between the booru and Google searches. Of course, all of the research (and inspiration, thanks to watching Mutant Mayhem) has made me want to start another art series: drawing RosaJon as every April O’Neil from the animated series, up to and including the aforementioned movie.
To start, here’s Rosa O’Jon, based on the 1987 cartoon. I usually don’t draw in this style anymore, since it’s so tedious to get right on Procreate, but I had fun nonetheless and I’m happy with the results.
Anyway, have a good convention! Look forward to the next April or two once you get back!
