The first of Jon's E.G.O., and his personal one at that, [SYNTAX ERROR]
A Zayin-class E.G.O. who's true form can't truly be comprehended in the City, something about it just... isn't compatible with this dimension, even it's true name is unknown.
Decided to take a short break from Identities to instead do the E.G.O. I listed out ages ago, and the followers far and away wanted to this one. I don't exactly know how this one would work, and I'm not the animator between me and Bran. Though, I imagine the idea of the scarf/Jon glitching out in the process.
In truth, I struggled immensely with this as how do you take a non-physical concept like a Syntax error and make it physical? Well, I looked to the Jonaverse for help, or rather the Genesis. The Maids games I've been part of and PonPon were very much used as inspiration which is why there's a heavy emphasis on the scarf (and the rift in the background)
-----Optional wordy stuff for time reasons-----
The words in the background are, for all intents and purposes "made-up" words from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. I picked three I felt encompass the story I've started actually trying to figure out for Sinner Jon, without hopefully stepping too close to reality.
Monachopsis: The subtle but persistent feeling of being out of place, as maladapted to your surroundings as a seal on a beach—lumbering, clumsy, easily distracted, huddled in the company of other misfits, unable to recognize the ambient roar of your intended habitat, in which you'd be fluidly, brilliantly, effortlessly at home.
Nodus Tollens: The realization that the plot of your life doesn't make sense to you anymore— that although you thought you were following the arc of the story, you keep finding yourself immersed in passages you don't understand, that don't even seem to belong in the same genre—which requires you to go back and reread the chapters you had originally skimmed to get to the good parts, only to learn that all along you were supposed to choose your own adventure.
Waldosia: A condition characterized by scanning faces in a crowd looking for a specific person who would have no reason to be there, which is your brain's way of checking to see whether they're still in your life, subconsciously patting its emotional pockets before it leaves for the day.
