Something about this place seems familiar, I just can't quite put my finger on it...

My family and I love coming to visit National Harbor around Christmas time to tour the city and, especially, the Gaylord hotel itself. Around this time of year, the whole place is covered in Christmas decorations, including a massive tree hanging in the Gaylord's front entrance. There's also plenty of activities around here including the massive carved ice sculptures that you can walk around and look at, plus a Build-A-Bear workshop and ornament shop close by. Honestly, between the convention center, the shops (especially Potbelly's), and living twenty five minutes away by car, the only things that sucks about this place are the parking garage rates.

Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday, no matter where you are in the world.

Now, I wonder what this place will look like three weeks from now...?
