I ended up watching the VOD for Monday night's stream and was so inspired by everyone's mermaid drawings that I wanted to do some of my own! :D
I also wanted to draw mermaid Yae because while I never actually played Goemon, I remember reading a guide for it in Nintendo Power and loved this cool girl-haired ninja girl who turned into a mermaid ~ <3
