This was the first one I made because I had Ryan handy to ask questions while I designed this character.
This is Ryan as a Sylvari. A plant like race who aren't exactly "born" but more so "wake up" from a dream like state and *insert large amount of lore here*
I went with Sylvari just as I couldn't think of Ryan as the other races and honestly just being Human feels like a cop out of sorts. Wanted to get more creative and as such, made this. I made him a Guardian as he wanted a healing class and since Guild Wars 2 doesn't have any designated healer classes (blame how exploitable they were in Guild Wars 1, looking at you, Monks) I did the best I could to give him a Staff that, on a Guardian, gives healing abilities to him and his team. I went with Red and purple as those were the colors he said were some of his favorites, gave him a Mohawk of purple "hair" akin to what he's got IRL. His staff I tried to go with a sort of an antique like look as I thought of Fire Emblem 3H and the special weapons in that game (which I forget what they are called) and thought this would be a cool look for him.
The eyes I made to glow as I have a purple mask that is just that, glowing smokey purple eyes. Enjoy!
