If you don't mind me asking, what do you color your work with? Regular colored pencils with some ink?

I mainly use pencils and some Faber Castel Markers as well as some cheap markers. I'll find the brand !

I would suggest trying out water coloring pencils. They may compliment your style nicely since you seem to use a lot of soft colors. Water coloring pencils are fairly light, but if you apply a damp brush or finger tip you can drag and blend the colors, which also become more saturated once the water activates them.
