So I don't know how to redesign
Or how to make clothing
I tried redesigning RosaJon to get a more "Don't make Nintendo angry" approach with a bunch of stars and a galaxy hair in it but... I'm not convinced.
Also, add a little P. Jeannette to the mix.

Fracking hell Camille! stop beating yourself up. Yes you do know how to redesign things, why else would this be as fracking awesome as it is. I can totally see this being an easily and reliably replicatable design not only for other art pieces, but also as merch designs. You do better on this stuff than you give yourself credit for and even though you don't see it, all of us around you do. Keep brightening the world with these two pretty ladies(and your other art as well).

This is amazing and shows that you have great art skills! I really can't see how you're bad at redesigning, because the honestly is nothing wrong with this. It is whimsical and shows that you probably had quite a bit of fun drawing this. This is nothing to beat yourself up on! I'm sure you've inspired a lot of people to draw some redesigns of their own (including me) and all because you drew this amazing drawing, so I wouldn't get all mopey about this and just look at the positives this brings. Hope that maybe makes you feel a bit better...
