another stream regular spookified! this time, this is what happens when you take gengar's green greens away from him.
soon enough you'll be getting spooky goose pretty soon. who knows?

also, real quick storytime because it's something that needs getting off my chest after watching the vod from a past stream.
if I'm gonna be honest, as of late I'm not in the best of places emotionally. been pretty doubtful about where I am skillwise in my art, and it's made worse because I am trying to make a living out of it. that sort of pressure you put on yourself really makes you doubt if you're worth anything.
but a couple of things happened. one is I went back and watched a game clearing stream from last year and at some point the conversation got really deep. you and gex, I believe went into how content creators go through so much stress and emotional unrest at times and if you need to step back and be better for yourself, you should take that chance. rewatching that helped me, because I was definitely in that place. I needed to take a step back. and it helped a lot.
the other was I finished the spooky kermit painting. as strange as that sounds, finishing it was catharsis. it was looking back at it and going, hey, maybe there's something there. sure, the crippling self-doubt is still here sometimes, but to look back at your own work and, even just a little, like what it turned out, really helps. and that painting wouldn't have happened if not for your streams.
so I just wanna thank you in all earnest for helping me cope. it's tough in my situation as there's no one I can vent all this to; my art is my way of releasing the tension. but that can only go so far. but thank you for being the muse that I needed to help at least process a bit of the baggage that I still need to let go of.
and lastly, if there's any advice I can give any artist--or hell, any person in a dark place right now, it's that you surely do matter. it doesn't always feel like it, but you're still out there in your own way making the world a better place. so thanks for being you. and keep doing so, too.
