Jumping on the FF14 bandwagon, this is my character! She's a Lalafell named Falili Fali, though she usually goes by Lily for short. She's a genuinely friendly and wholesome goober, but don't mistake that cheeriness as naivety! She can hold her own if she needs to, and will protect others without hesitation - not to mention her rogueish profession. She's a vigilante that works to keep underbelly agents in check, and a cutpurse that fancies herself a modern Robin Hood, lightening heavy purses and filling the empty ones.

She happened upon her profession by accident, believe it or not. She was so poor she was sleeping on the streets, when one day saw an individual drop their hefty coinpurse, but by the time she picked it up to try returning it, they were long gone. She thought to herself, "if they were carrying this much around on their person, surely this must be only a drop in the pond to them. I probably need it more than they do..."
Then one thing led to another, and she winded up where she is today.
